Impulsando a la próxima generación: cómo Endurance apoya la educación STEM en automoción
At Endurance, supporting the future of driving means more than protecting today’s vehicles. It also means investing in the next generation of innovators who will shape tomorrow’s automotive landscape. That commitment is at the heart of Endurance se preocupa, our corporate giving initiative focused on education, safety, and making an impact in our communities.
This year, we are proud to partner with the Museo de la Velocidad Americana to help expand hands-on learning opportunities for kids of all ages to explore. Through our support, Endurance is contributing to the creation of a brand-new, dedicated youth STEAM space: 1,500 square feet designed to introduce children to science, technology, engineering, art, and math through the world of automobiles.
A New Home for Hands-On Learning
Set for a revamp, the museum’s newly updated STEAM space will feature updated versions of the museum’s most popular educational exhibits. The centerpiece will feature an all-new aluminum racetrack, replacing the original wooden version. The upgrade improves durability and supports greater flexibility for future educational programming.
Kids will be able to design, build, and modify their own vehicles, then race them down a 30-foot track equipped with timing sensors. As they experiment with concepts like speed, friction, and design, they’ll get a first-hand look at the science behind automotive performance, without even realizing they’re learning engineering fundamentals.
The space will also offer activities that spark creativity and a little friendly competition, including:
- A coloring and design station where kids get to sketch their own car concepts or customize historic makes and models
- A vintage slot-car track for head-to-head racing
- Interactive screens featuring automotive trivia and knowledge challenges
Together, these activities make the STEAM area a destination where curiosity and the world of cars meet.
Why This Partnership Matters
Endurance’s donation helps bring these interactive experiences to life and helps ensure more young people, especially first-time visitors and school groups, have access to hands-on automotive learning. It reflects our commitment to supporting drivers and the broader automotive community.
Investing in the Road Ahead
Through Endurance Cares, we’re committed to strengthening communities while helping expand access to hands-on learning across the country. By helping fund the Museum of American Speed’s new youth STEAM space, we’re investing in the creativity, confidence, and passion of the next generation of drivers, builders, and problem-solvers.
We’re proud to support programs that make STEM approachable, inspiring, and most importantly, fun. Because at the end of the day, the future of driving starts with the kids who discover that speed, science, and imagination go hand in hand.
